sorry i haven't posted any blogs lately. I've been busy doing nothing this summer. nothing special has happened lately, unless you count today. today was my first day of MIDDLE SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Last Show

I played my last show for the summer on Friday night. We played at the Triple Door in Seattle. I thought it was amazing. When we were not on stage we all sat in the box seats. The sound was amazing. I only got to play on 2 songs cause there were five different shows being featured and each show had about 5 songs in them. There were 85 people who played. I had a lot of fun. The guitar I'm using in the picture, I had to used the one they had there because if we all brought our own guitars there would be too many guitars on the wings of the stage...we'd have a hard time getting through.
Kris K, one of the guys in charge, played a few songs at the end of the show with Ben, Sean, Markus, Phil and Aaron. They are other instructors. Sean was my instructor for my private lessons. He's a bass player for the band called The Globes. He also plays guitar.

I've been a part of Seattle's School of Rock for about a year and this is my second show. I did the artwork for this season's show!!

Hootenanny 2010

Hi.
Sigh. I don't know what to say.
We had a Hootenanny last week. A Hootenanny is our school's talent show. For this year's Hootenanny my family performed a song by the Arcade Fire. I played guitar, Hazel sang, Dad played drums, my uncle played bass and my Mom sang. You can see the video on my mom's website.
I was also a part of another act for the Hootenanny. In this one we played a Boogie. I played drums, my friends Keaton and Duncan played sax, Keaton's sister and dad played piano. We had a great time practicing and here you can see how well we played for the show:

Now Introducing Blank

This is Blank, yes both of them. See how he has that ring that has electricity coming out of it around him at the bottom and hand(ring 1: right, ring 2: left)? Well he's changing. The picture on the left were he is all white with a little bit of shading on him and coming out of his hand is that ring, he's holding that rock. that rock is making him turn to rock. Blank can touch almost anything and turn into it.

Vacation

hi, sorry i haven't made any blogs lately, but i have gone on a vacation i'd like to tell you about!!;)

see that girl hugging me? that's my cousin, Audrey, she LLLOOOOOOOOVVVVVESSS me and i loooovvvveee her. the funny thing about Audrey is that the first day hazel and i see her she always goes for hazel first, and then she starts tackling me.

What's Going On

I've got a lot going on right now. Been real, real busy.
First off I have a show coming up next week! I'm going to be playing guitar with some of the kids from School of Rock. The show is January 23 at The Vera Project. It's all ages so I hope some of my friends can come out and see me rock.
Then, I'm in the school play. It's called Rockin' Around Sherwood Forest. The play is on March 12 and 13. I've got a pretty big role- I'm Robin Hood. Many of my friends are in the play with me, Duncan, Keaton, Manny and Sam. My friend Lena is playing a pretty big role too- she's Snow White. We've all known each other since kindergarten and now we're in 5th grade. Next year we'll all be going to middle school...scary.

Last night we went to a school party. The party was for Turn off the TV week (which I don't know how I survived through). I played badmitten and drew a werewolf. Maybe I'll scan the picture in for you to see one of these days.
